How to use Alternating Pressure Overlay?

  1. Place the mattress topper in place on the mattress and secure the waterproof top cover with a snap
  2. The mattress can be kept on the bed by tucking the ends of the mattress cover under the current mattress or boxspring
  3. Using the flexible air line provided, attach the mattress feed pipe to the compressor (pump) connector
  4. Plug the compressor into a grounded outlet after placing it securely on a flat surface or hanging it from the headboard or footboard with the provided non-marking hooks
  5. To achieve the appropriate firmness, turn on the air compression pump and adjust pressure using turn dial. Before placing the patient on top of the mattress, make sure it is fully inflated
