How do I adjust the volume on the Thinklabs One Stethoscope?
STEP 1: Press any of the four control buttons for two seconds to power on the device. When the LEDs come on, release the button.
When the device comes on, the Battery/Volume LED will display the current volume, as shown below.
STEP 2: To increase the volume, press the Plus control button on the right. To decrease the volume, press the Minus button on the left.
As you increase the volume, the LED will move to the right on the Battery/Volume Scale. Similarly, as you decrease the volume, the LED will move to the left, as indicated by the arrows in the following images.
NOTE: Please make sure your wired headphones are plugged all the way in to the 3.5mm jack on the One to avoid issues and to provide you with the best sound possible.

1. What is the best way to wear the Thinklabs One?
Thinklabs One is exceptionally easy to wear because it is much lighter and smaller than a conventional stethoscope. Because the One has a standard 3.5mm jack, you can easily insert the included Thinklabs ear buds into the device and wear it around your neck.
2. How do I clean the Thinklabs One?
One can be cleaned with most alcohol and bleach wipes that are commonly used in hospitals, including:
- Alcohol wipes
- Cavi-wipes
- Sani-cloth Plus
- Dispatch
NOTE: Do not submerge the One in any liquid, and do not allow any liquid into the device.
3. How do I turn the Thinklabs One on?
Easily turn on the Thinklabs One stethoscope by pressing and holding any of the four control buttons for two seconds to power on the device. When the LEDs come on, release the button, and the One should be immediately ready to use. If the One does not power on, charge your device for at least four hours and then try again.
4. How do I charge the Thinklabs One?
- To charge the One, carefully plug the cable all the way into the recessed jack and then plug the USB into the wall charger.
- As the Thinklabs One is charging, the battery LED will blink and the LED flash rate will change pace as the device charges.
- When the light stops blinking and remains on, the device is fully charged. When you unplug the One, the battery LED will remain off.
5. Is a digital stethoscope worth it?
Digital stethoscopes are 96% more efficient in improving audio clarity and the loudness of the sounds. Digital settings allow you to make adjustments to the frequency range.
