How to use Sombra Gel?
- Do not use on wounds or damaged skin, or with a heat source. When using the Sombra topical analgesic: avoid bandaging tightly, avoid contact with eyes, and keep out of reach of children.
- For use with adults and children 2 years of age and older, apply to the affected area not more than 3 to 4 times daily, and rub in thoroughly until the gel is absorbed, for children under 2 years of age: consult a doctor.
- Stop use and consult a doctor if the condition worsens, symptoms persist for more than 7 days, or, if symptoms clear up and occur again within a few days.
- If nursing or pregnant consult a doctor.

Can Sombra be used with ice, heating pads, tape, or wraps?
Sombra should not be used with external heating pads. You can use the Sombra Cool Therapy gel with ice to extend the benefits of the cooling effect. Only breathable wraps are recommended for use with Sombra.
What is the pain-relieving ingredient?
Camphor and menthol are the listed active ingredients. It also contains capsaicin which has been shown to relieve pain.
How long does Deep Heat gel last?
Applied to painful areas in the same manner as one would a plaster, the slow release of Deep Heat's soothing effect lasts for 12 hours.
How many times a day can you apply deep heat?
It can be applied (as necessary) 2 or 3 times daily including before exercise or any activity. Apply a thin layer and gently massage into the affected area until completely absorbed into the skin. Wash hands immediately after use.
