SoftPro In-Bed AFO Boot offers orthotic therapy for mild to moderate joint stiffness, contracture, or abnormal tone and spasticity of the ankle and foot. It treats plantar flexion, and rotation of the hip. The AFO Boot aims to increase the available range of motion, active and/or passive at the ankle joint, improve and maintain functional alignment of the ankle and foot, and to increase the range of motion and mobility. It also works to decrease the risk of skin breakdown, reduce contracture related pain and discomfort, and prevent permanent deformity.
