How to apply Exu-Dry Absorbent Wound Dressing?

• When using a full absorbency Exu-dry dressing, select a size slightly larger than the wound
• Place onto wound
• The back side of the dressings is marked "Use another side against wound"
• This dressing may be used as a wet or dry dressing
• Dry - a variety of topical agents may be applied directly on the wound or buttered onto the dressing
• Wet - submerge in a liquid topical agent and gently squeeze out (do not ring out) excess fluid

How to use Exu-Dry Pads with Secondary Dressings?

• May be used in combination with other products (calcium alginates, gels, foams, etc.) that have been used to pack a wound
• Good wound contact is essential for which it is recommended to be secured in place with a dressing retention tape (window pane) or use a light wrap of roll gauze
• Daily dressing changes are recommended as per institutional protocols

When to use Exu-Dry Dressing
