How to Use Sammons R-Soft Wrist Support?

• Measure the wrist circumference to determine the proper size
• Slide brace on the affected hand with the layer of stockinette on the back of the hand
• Thread hook and loop through D ring securing the hook and loop closures
• The metal stay should fit into the palm of the hand and extend down the forearm
• Trim the strap leaving approximately 1" - 2" of overlap
• Note: The metal stay has been positioned so the wrist will be at 30° of extension. For patients with carpal tunnel syndrome, the metal stay can be adjusted to 0° to 20° of extension

Washing Instructions:

• Remove metal stay
• Fasten hook and loop
• Hand wash in warm water using a mild detergent
• Air dry
• Blot excess water with a towel, do not wring out
