When to use it?

Vaginal Dilators are used to stretch and relieve tightening of the vaginal tissues. It is ideal to use in the following conditions:

• Pelvic Pain: Pain in the lowest part of your abdomen and pelvis.
• Vaginismus: Whenever penetration is attempted, your vaginal muscles tighten on their own.
• Vestibulodynia: Pain that occurs at the entrance (vestibule) to your vagina.
• Vaginal Stenosis: A condition in which the vagina (birth canal) becomes narrower and shorter.
• Vulvodynia: Chronic pain or discomfort around the opening of your vagina (vulva)
• Psychological predisposing factors for vaginal penetration
• Menopause: To offset hormonal changes affecting the vagina
• Increasing the vaginal capacity or length following certain procedures, such as a hysterectomy

How to use Medical Dilators?

1. Wash your dilator in hot water using a mild soap. Rinse it well before use.
2. With your legs bent and apart, lie down on your back. Relax your legs.
3. On the dilator's rounded end, place a small amount of the prescribed medicine or approved personal lubricant.
4. Put the rounded end into your vagina with firm, gentle pressure.
5. Leave the dilator in place using gentle pressure for about 5 minutes.
6. Remove the dilator. Wash it with hot, soapy water, rinse well, and leave it to dry.
