What to buy with Norco Multi-Use Foam Back Electrodes
How to place Norco Multi-Use Hydrogel Electrode Pads?
- Clean and dry the skin thoroughly with soap and water before application. Electrode pads do not stick to the skin with oil, lotion, make-up, dirt, etc.
- Make sure the electrotherapy machine is turned off.
- Insert the lead wire pins into the pin connector of the electrodes.
- Remove the electrotherapy pads from the protective liner by gently lifting them at the edge of the electrodes and peel from the liner. Preserve the protective liner in the storage bag after removing it.
- Apply the electrodes firmly to the treatment site. Adhesion improves when the skin is at room temperature.
Where should you not put Norco TENS Multi-Use Electrodes?
Care should be taken while attaching electrodes to the skin. Ensure that the machine is switched off before placing them. Electrotherapy pads should not be placed on certain areas of the body, including:
- Mouth or eyes
- Temples
- Front or sides of the neck
- Chest and upper back at the same time
- Varicose veins
- Broken, infected, or irritated skin
- Numb area
- Body part with metal implants
- Fracture site
How often should you replace the Norco Electrodes?
- Electrode pads usually need to be replaced every one to two months or 20-30 uses.
- However, the quality of your electrodes is a strong indicator of how long they will last.
- Lower-quality pads may not last that long and need changing more often.
- The time you use the machine will also impact how long your pads will last.
- Over time, the adhesive on the TENS pads rubs off, and the fabric becomes worn, which indicates that it is time to replace the pads with a new one.
