• Pressure injuries

Recommended use:

• All wound depths
• As a primary dressing
• Moderate/heavy drainage

Contraindications:

• Individuals with a known sensitivity to alginates
• To control heavy bleeding
• Third-degree burns
• Dry or lightly draining wounds
• As a surgical sponge

Change Frequency:

• Maxorb Extra may be left in place for up to 7 days
• Dressing change frequency will depend on amount of drainage
