How to use No-Touch Infrared Forehead Thermometer?

Important Safety Instructions:

Select Temperatures Unit (˚C or ˚F)

1. Slide the Mode Switch from ‘off’ to ‘forehead’ mode and then immediately press and hold the ‘Scan’ button.
2. Keep holding down the ‘Scan’ button for 3-4 seconds until you see the word ‘Set’ appear on the screen.
3. After the word ‘Set’ appears, press the ‘Scan’ button to toggle between C and F temperature units.
4. After you have selected the preferred temperature unit, press and hold ‘Scan’ for 3-4 seconds until the screen readies for a forehead measurement (you will see the forehead symbol appear). The next measurement will be displayed in the selected unit.

 

Tips for performing a temperature measurement

1. To take a temperature, the thermometer must be held steady within 1 inch (2-3 cm) from the forehead. Sweat and other obstructions, such as hair, will affect the accuracy of the reading. Please make sure that the forehead is clear and dry before attempting a measurement.
2. When the measurement is complete, use the Mode Switch to turn the thermometer off.

How to clean an Infrared No-Touch Digital Thermometer?

• The probe is not waterproof. Please wipe with a clean, dry cotton swab to clean the probe.
• The body of the thermometer is water-resistant. Use a soft and dry cloth to clean it. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
• Store the thermometer in a cool, dry location, free from dust and away from direct sunlight.
