Medline Avant Deluxe Non-Sterile Gauze Sponges are made of a unique rayon and polyester blend to provide improved strength and absorbency. These non-woven sponges provide increased wicking ability as well as less lint as compared to the traditional woven sponges. The increased material weight helps to provide a more efficient sponge than the traditional Avant line by reducing the number of sponges that have to be used for each procedure.
