How to use Fleet Enema?

• Remove the protective shield from Enema Fleet Comfort tip before inserting
• Apply steady pressure and gently insert the enema tip into rectum with a slight side-to-side movement and point the tip towards navel
• It gets easier to insert it if the person receiving an enema bears down as if having a bowel movement. This relaxes the muscles around the anus
• Squeeze the bottle until all liquid is gone. Apply as per the requirement, as the bottle contains more liquid than needed
• Remove Comfortip from rectum and maintain position until urge to evacuate is strong (usually 1 to 5 minutes)

Fleet Enema Contraindications and Precautions:

• Using more than one enema in 24 hours can be harmful.
• Not recommended for children younger than 2 years.
