When to use MIC Key G Tube?

- Wash your hands

- Do not overfill: 5cc recommended, 10cc maximum
- Fill only with distilled or sterile water. Do not use air
- Never put medications in the balloon

- If a tube clogs, flush it with water
- Never use mineral oil or petroleum-based lubricants

Contraindications:
Placement of a feeding tube include, but are not limited to ascites, colonic interposition, portal hypertension, peritonitis and morbid obesity.
