Covidien Webcol Alcohol Prep Pads with Medium 2-ply sponge are 70% Isopropyl alcohol saturated. Surface friction is increased for cleaning and disinfecting. Individually sealed in poly-lined, airtight foil pouches: Dry pads are reduced. Alcohol preps are used to clean the skin in preparation for procedures such as IV lines and syringe incisions, as well as other procedures that will penetrate the skin and expose it to external bacteria.
