They are also clinically proven to prevent the damaging effects of venous distension that occur during surgery and hospitalization.
TED Anti-Embolism Stockings apply the clinically proven graduated pressure pattern of 18mmHg at the ankle, 14mmHg at the calf, 8mmHg at the popliteal, 10mmHg at the lower thigh, and 8mmHg at the upper thigh. It is important to measure the leg size of the patient to ensure that the appropriate pressure pattern is applied.

How to wear Open Toe TED Anti-Embolism Stockings?
1. Insert hand into the ted anti embolism stockings as far as the heel pocket

2. Grasp the center of the heel pocket and turn the stocking inside out to heel area

3. Carefully position the stocking over the foot and heel. Be sure the heel is centered in heel pocket

4. Pull the stocking up and lift around the ankle and calf, working up to the final position. Place heel and toe correctly. Smooth out any excess material between the top of the stocking and the ankle. Pull the toe section forward to smooth the ankle and instep area and allow for toe comfort.
