Covidien Kendall Q-Trace Diagnostic Tab Electrodes are very popular for resting ECGs because of their ease of use, high quality, and comfort. They have a conductive adhesive hydrogel for superior adhesion and reliable tracings, a silver/silver chloride sensing system for defibrillation recovery, and a long-lasting latex-free, DEHP-free, mercury-free construction. The adhesive on the standard Q-TRACE 5400 electrodes is preferred for most common monitoring situations, whereas the Q-TRACE Gold 5500 electrodes have a high-tack, aggressive adhesive gel for better adhesion in more difficult situations.
