Jodi-Vac Consumer Hearing Aid Vacuum Cleaner

Like a dryer, you could live without it, but who would want to? Standard tools simply can't remove material lodged down a long narrow tube. They can scrape soom of it out, but the rest just gets pushed deeper. It is verually impossible if you cannot see the blockage. Gets 5 stars because of it's utility and relinability, mine's over 10 years old. Wish it had another mode with increased vacuum some times, but that might be a hazardous for the microphones and speakers which this mode's mode is not.

Delivery Time Note: I received the HPFY email suggestion to write a review for the Jodi vacuum 12 days after i ordered it. Since i still had not received the vacuum yet, I obviously had to wail until delivery (14 days after ordered) to write the review. The vacuum is okay ... mostly because it is weaker than i expected it to be. I have CIC hearing aids and purchased this to clean out the tiny microphone ports, which the jodi-vac does if you spend some time alternating back and forth between a brush and the vacuum. If it were a little more powerful, it might just pull the deposits right out without the need to loosen them up with the brush (which adds the risk of potentially ramming the junk and packing it deeper in the port).
