Installation of SuperPole:
Attach the top plate to the pole assembly with supplied clevis pin.Place the base plate on the floor at the intended location.Insert the pole assembly into the base plate.Make pole vertically level and insert a screwdriver thru drive hole in the jackscrew.While holding pole, turn jackscrew (with screwdriver) clockwise until pole is tightened between floor and ceiling.Ensure ceiling plate spans one or two ceiling joists.Turn jam nut to lock the jackscrew. This prevents pole from loosening.Lower plastic sleeve to cover jackscrew.
Installation of SuperTrapeze:
Slide the support arm onto the top of the SuperPole, and install SuperPole as per instructions.Set height and angle of support arm and secure set screws with hex key.Adjust length of strap so fingers can comfortably rest on bottom rail when lying down.Slide trapeze in open loop on strap.
Note:
The SuperPole System should only be installed between floors and ceilings of solid construction or injury may result. The SuperPole System should not be installed on loose floor coverings, in rooms with radiant ceiling heating, in mobile homes, or in suspended or angled ceilings. Recommended weight limits are 300lbs for all models (excluding SuperPole Heavy Duty); no more than 150lbs should be exerted on trapeze system (for repositioning and sitting up assistance only).
