Instructions for Use of Extricare 3600 Wound Vacuum Pump

• To install canister: First, line up the 2 tabs on the bottom of the canister to the notches on the bottom of the Extricare 3600 device, and then press the canister clip into place.
• Power ON/OFF: To power on the device, flip the Power Switch located on the device's back panel.
• Pressure Setting Controls: To change the pressure, press the Up and Down buttons and set them to the desired pressure. The pressure changes in increments of 5 mmHg with a range of 40 mmHg to 200 mmHg.
• Mode (M): Press the Mode Button to switch between continuous or intermittent. In continuous mode, the device will continuously operate at the set pressure. In intermittent mode, the device will operate for 5 min. at the set pressure, and then for 2 min. at 20 mmHg, and then repeat the cycle.
• Start/Stop Treatment: To start or stop treatment, press the Start/Stop Button for 2 seconds.
• Lock/Unlock Device: The device will lock automatically if there is no button input for 3 min. To unlock the device, press and hold the MODE and Start/Stop buttons for 2 seconds. To manually lock the device, press and hold the Mode and Start/Stop buttons for 2 seconds.
• Rail Clamp: To use the rail clamp, insert the clamp board firmly into the socket at the back of the device (choose vertical for bedside clamp or horizontal for IV poll clamp). Unscrew the clamp (main black knob) to make space to secure the clamp to the poll (or bed). Screw clamp onto poll or bed. Make sure the clamp is tight, and the pump is secure.
• Recharging Device: To recharge the device, use the charger included with the Extricare3600. The charging port is located on the left side of the device. To ensure charging, turn on the pump and make sure the power adapter icon is displayed.
