What is Thermoflect?
Thermoflect is a simple four-layer construction designed to promote normothermia and help prevent hypothermia using the patient's endogenous body heat. Thermoflect products work immediately once they are applied and do not require any equipment, electrical, or other consumables. The products reduce the impact of RTD which occurs within the first hour after induction of anesthesia and is responsible for the quickest loss of heat for surgical patients, and they heat using unique heat reflective technology and quilted channels to capture and reflect radiant heat while preventing convective heat loss.
