What to buy with Drive Adjustable Height Rollator

How to use Drive Medical Universal Seat Height Aluminum Rollator?

How to assemble Drive Universal Seat Height Rollator?

  1. Remove all contents from the carton.
  2. Open the frame and place it upside-down on the floor. Attach legs without brakes to the front of the walker by depressing the push pin and sliding the leg into the receptacle. Secure in place using the tightening knob, threading the knob in from the outside. Repeat for the second leg, making sure both legs are set to the same height.
  3. Attach back legs (with brakes) using the same process, ensuring the wheels are on the outside of the rollator and at the same height as the front wheels. Affix the brake cable to the black portion of the leg using the “S” shaped clamp provided.
  4. Insert the handle tube into the frame and set it to the desired height. Secure in place using a tightening knob, threading the knob in from the outside. Repeat for the second handle, making sure both are set to the same height.
  5. Attach padded backrest by depressing the black thumb buttons and sliding into the black bracket. Note that the backrest can be folded up when not in use

Safety Precautions:

  • Please make sure the Rollator is fully opened, the seat is down, and the folding bar under the seat is locked in the down position
  • Be sure that both knobs are fully tightened and are at equal heights. Test the Rollator for stability before applying full weight to hand grips
  • Test the loop locks before operating the Rollator. When wheels are locked, the lock bar on the rear wheels should prevent the wheels from turning. If the wheels turn while the brakes are locked, please take unit back to dealer for adjustment. When locks are released, the wheels should turn freely
  • Always lock loop locks before sitting, and do not use the seat when the unit is on an incline or uneven ground
  • Replace tires when significantly worn or damaged
  • Do not have anyone push you while you are seated on the Rollator. This is a walking aid only and is not to be used as a transportation device.

How to walk with a Drive Rolling Walker with Seat?

  • Place the rollator in front of you, facing ahead of you.
  • Place your hands on the handles and keep your fingers near the brake for access if you need to stop the walker.
  • Gently roll the rollator ahead as you walk, and keep it close enough to get support.
  • Keep your gaze looking ahead while you walk, not at your feet.
  • Move slowly and be careful in unknown areas or on bumpy surfaces.
  • Keep a close watch for any potential hazards.
  • When needed, engage the brakes by pushing the brake handles down.
  • Rest when you feel tired.
