  Install Batteries
  - Remove protective boot. Install 3 AA batteries into the Drive fall monitor. The battery compartment door is secured with a small Phillips-head screw
  Setting up pad (first time use)
  - Put pressure on the pad for 30 seconds to power up the pad. Once this has been done, the pad will remain on for the life of the pad
  Programming the pad and monitor together
  - After the pad has been powered up press and hold the program button on the back of the CordLess monitor
  - Listen for 3 beeps from the monitor and release button
  - The Pad 1 light will be on
  - Press on the pad for 2-3 seconds then release pressure
  - The monitor will beel twice, the pad 1 light will go off and the pad 2 light will then come on
  Pad Usage
  - When pressure is placed on the pad, the monitor will beep 2 times to indicate the pad is active and in use
  - When pressure is then released from the pad, the monitor will sound the alarm tone
  - Press there set button to silence and reset the alarm
  Positioning
  - Position the sensor pad under the resident
  - To be alerted when the resident sits up in bed, place the sensor pad under the residents shoulder
  - To be alerted when the resident vacates bed, place the sensor pad under the residents hips
• Maintenance
  - When using a sensor pad in conjunction with foam or gel cushions, test the system to make sure it functions properly
  - To minimize spreading infection, it is recommended to use a new sensor pad for each resident
  - To clean sensor pads, use disinfectant wipes or anti-bacterial cleaners
  - DO NOT fold or immerse the sensor pad in any solution
  - DO NOT expose the sensor pad to high temperature sanitizers
• Warning
  - Failure to comply with warning may result in injury or death
  - This device is not suitable for all individuals and is not a substitute for visual monitoring by caregiver
  - The manufacturer does not claim that this device will stop elopement and/or stop falls
  - This device is designed to augment caregivers comprehensive resident mobility management program
  - Test this device before each use
