Change the bacteria filter if overflow occurs or every two months, whichever comes first. Start by turning the unit "off".
Remove the filter by disconnecting it from the suction unit and lid assembly.
Replace with a clean DeVilbiss bacteria filter and remount to the suction unit and lid. Ensure that the clear side of the bacteria filter is toward the elbow and bottle when installing. Do not reverse the direction of the filter.
