How to Assemble the Homecare Bed?

• Remove clevis and cotter pins, and align and secure the U-shaped bracket with clevis pins on the drive shaft ends.
• Temporarily remove middle joint bolts, position frames at 90° hook head and foot mounts, and connect frames, ensuring rivet engagement.
• Position locking casters diagonally, fully insert them into bed legs, push down to lock, and pull up to unlock.
• Attach the headboard and footboard to the frames in labeled pairs, secure using clevis pins and R-clips, and re-insert bolts and nuts.
• With the bed flat and the springs up, lift the head section for slack and install six mattress retainers (one on each side and two on each end).
• Lastly, Install a head/foot electric motor unit and hi/low motor on the full-electric bed.

Warning and Precautions

• DO NOT overtighten the mounting hardware, as this will damage the mounting brackets
• DO NOT use accessories that are not designed or approved for use with the bed.
• DO NOT exceed the maximum weight limitation of the bed. The maximum patient weight is 400 lbs.
• ALWAYS keep hands and fingers away from moving parts to avoid injury.
• ALWAYS keep  first aid at hand to help prevent any injury that may be caused while  operating the bed.
