How to Apply ConvaMax Wound Dressing?
- Cleanse both the wound and hands. Use disposable gloves if necessary.
- Pat the skin down with a towel or cloth to dry it.
- Open the ConvaMax and apply it to the wound. Make sure the padding is covering the wound and the blue side is facing upwards.
- Secure dressing with tape or gauze if required.
How often to change ConvaMax Superabsorber Dressing?
Each dressing should not be left in place for more than 7 days.
Contraindications -
- Do not use on dry wounds, eyes, mucous membranes or the wound cavities.
- Do not use on third-degree burns or arterial bleeds.
- Do not use on patients with known allergy or hypersensitivity to the dressings.
- Do not reuse.
- Do not cut the dressing.
