How to use Comodita Uno All Terrain Walker?
Assembly Instructions
Assembling your COMODITA Uno Rolling Walker is extremely simple.
- Carefully remove the walker from the shipping carton.
- Unfold the walker by pushing down the folding brackets on both sides of the rolling walker until they are fully extended.
- Insert handlebars into the frame of the walker, keeping the brake cables outside the frame.
- Adjust the height of the handles:
- Open the handle-locking device.
- Adjust the height of the handle to the desired position by standing upright behind the walker with your shoulders relaxed and arms hanging at your side. The handgrips should be at a height, even with your wrists.
- Close the handle-locking device until you hear a "click".
- No tools are required!
Operating Instructions
To Walk
- Position yourself behind the walker and hold both handles firmly.
- Roll your walker slowly forward so that the rear wheels are a few inches ahead of your body.
- While maintaining a steady and safe roll forward, place your foot in line with the rear wheels.
- Repeat the movement with your other foot.
- To slow down, pull the brake handles up.
To lock and unlock brakes
- To lock the brakes, push down the brake levers until the brakes click into the locked position, as shown below. Do not push it any further than this point.
- To unlock the brakes and resume walking, pull up the brake levers until you hear a "click".
To use as a seat
- Make sure your walker is on a flat surface, not on an incline.
- Lock the brakes before sitting.
- Make sure your feet rest flat on the ground.
How to install the backrest?
- With the locking mechanism positioned at "open", insert the backrest into the plastic support (Fig.1).
- Turn the locking mechanism (Fig.2) to "lock" (Fig.3).
- Do that on both sides.
How to fold Comodita Uno All Terrain Walker?
- Pull up the metal bar located under the seat (Fig.1).
- Close the walker all the way, as shown in (Fig. 2).
- Lock the walker in the folded position with the plastic device located on the right side of the walker (Fig. 3).
Care & Maintenance
Periodic brake adjustment
To adjust the sensitivity of the brake:
- Turn the locking nut clockwise to increase brake sensitivity (reduce the gap between the brake pad and the wheel).
- Turn the locking nut counter-clockwise to reduce sensitivity (increase the gap between the brake pad and the wheel).
Warnings:
- Over-adjustment of the brake might prevent the wheels from moving freely.
- Under-adjustment of the brake may cause the brake pad not to engage at all.
- Do not use the walker if the brakes are not working properly.
Safety Instructions:
Warning! Failure to follow safety instructions may result in serious injury.
- DO NOT use this product as a wheelchair.
- DO NOT transport someone while sitting on this walker.
- DO NOT exceed maximum weight capacity.
- BRAKES MUST be in a locked position before sitting on the seat.
- DO NOT self-propel the walker while seated.
- DO NOT sit on the walker on an incline.
- INSPECT BRAKES before each use.
- ALL WHEELS MUST be in contact with the floor or ground at all times.
- BACKREST IS NOT intended to support your full weight.
- DO NOT use it on escalators, stairs, moving sidewalks, or uneven surfaces.
- BOTH FEET should rest flat on the ground when sitting. * RECOMMEND USER'S HEIGHT from 5'4"to 6'4".
- Your COMODITA rolling walker should be revised periodically to ensure that the brakes are working perfectly and that all nuts and bolts are tight.

Your Comodita Rolling Walker is warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the original date of purchase. This warranty does not cover device failure due to user negligence, misuse of the product, failure to adhere to instructions, or normal wear and tear. In the event of a defect covered by this warranty, we will, at our option, repair or replace the device. This warranty does not include any labor or shipping charges.
