How to prepare Coloplast SenSura Mio Flex Two-Piece Urostomy pouch?

• To measure the size and form of the stoma, use the stoma measuring guide. Using a pair of small curved scissors and the cutting guide on the barrier, cut a hole in the barrier to fit the exact size and form of the stoma. To limit the possibility of leakage and skin concerns, the hole and the stoma must be perfectly aligned.
• Place the pouch, coupling side down, on a flat surface. Fold the bottom of the outlet three times upwards to reveal the Velcro strip and close the outlet.
• Fold the two turquoise tabs inwards to secure the Velcro.
• Either the Velcro dot immediately above the outlet or the Velcro strip in the center of the pouch can cover the outlet. (This does not apply to transparent pouches that do not have a Velcro dot in the center).
• Completely clean the stoma and the surrounding skin area. The skin must be thoroughly dry before the application of the barrier.
