The cotton top is absorbent and the water proof supplex backing provides a barrier to prevent penetration to clothing. The water proof barrier backing ensures that both food and drink will not soak through to the wearers clothing. The Shirt Saver is made using a proprietary bonding process, and is able to withstand heavy and multiple washings. The Velcro closure is positioned on the shoulder to make it easier to put on and take off.
