How Does Fingertip Pulse Oximeter Work?

1. Put one finger into the rubber hole of the pulse oximeter (as many areas as possible) with the nail facing upward, then release the clamp
2. Press the key, pulse oximeter will go into the working state
3. Keep the tested hand still during measurement
4. If no finger is inserted, the pulse oximeter will automatically go into standby mode or go to sleep after 8 seconds
5. Read the data from the display screen
6. The pulse oximeter will turn off automatically after 16 seconds after removing the finger from the device

Cleaning Instructions

1. Switch "off" the power and take out the batteries before cleaning
2. Clean the exterior surface (screen included) of the unit with a dry and soft cloth
3. Use isopropyl alcohol 75% to clean the surface
4. Use a small amount of alcohol on a dry fabric to prevent alcohol from permeating into the device

Warnings

• Avoid using the pulse oximeter in flammable environments with anesthetic gases
• Never throw batteries into a fire to prevent explosions
• Maintain a clean, stable environment for the pulse oximeter, avoiding dust, vibrations, corrosive substances, and extreme temperatures or humidity
• Do not operate the unit if it's wet, damp, or recently moved from a cold to a warm, humid place
• Do not use the pulse oximeter in MRI or CT environments
• Avoid attempting to recharge standard dry-cell batteries to prevent leaks, fires, or explosions
• Refrain from using sharp objects on front-panel switches
• Remove the battery if the device won't be used for an extended period
• Only use the pulse oximeter with the battery cover closed
• Store in the ambient temperature between -4°F and 131°F
• Dispose of used batteries properly according to local regulations
