BD BBL CultureSwab Plus Specimen Collection and Transport System includes a 5 mL Amies agar Gel Column with Oxygen-Scavenging Agents and is designed to collect, preserve and transport aerobic and facultative anaerobic organisms. The swabs have a secure double-action cap that keeps the specimen from drying out or leaking, removing the need for recollection or cross-contamination. A longer, 5 1/4" Shaft adds flexibility, making it easier to reach difficult sampling locations.
