• Highly conformable and absorbent
• Can be used for moderately-to-heavily exudating, partial and full-thickness wounds
• Compatible with 3M cover dressings to allow you to standardize with a single manufacturer
• It becomes an amorphous gel-like mass when saturated
• Gel allows for gentle removal from fragile tissue
• Easily irrigated from the wound bed when saturated
• Indications for Use:
  - Pressure ulcers
  - Arterial ulcers
  - Venous ulcers
  - Diabetic ulcers
  - Superficial wounds such as cuts and abrasions
  - Donor sites
  - Post-operative wounds
  - Trauma wounds
  - Other dermal lesions
  - Help control minor bleeding
• Contraindications:
  It is not indicated for surgical implantation or for use on full thickness burns

More Information

• Clinical Applications:
  -Shallow, moist draining wounds
  -Wounds with friable wound base or fragile peri-wound skin
  - Wounds requiring autolytic debridement
• Precautions:
  - Tegaderm Alginate dressings should not be used on minimally exudating wounds
  - Inadequate wound drainage could lead to adherence of the dressing to the wound site
