Features of U Step Walker 2
Reversed Braking System
Braking system is easy to use and puts in complete control. The U-Step Walker will not roll until it lightly squeeze either hand brake. Once it release the hand brake, the unit will stop immediately. This feature is particularly helpful when standing up from a chair because the unit will not roll away from you.
Rolling Resistance Control
Adjust the rolling speed of the new U-Step Neuro. Many people find that wheeled walkers roll too fast for them. That is why we engineered a control for setting the rolling resistance. Loosen the set screw and rotate the adjustment lever to the desired amount of resistance, then re-tighten the set.
Spring-Loaded Front Wheel
The patented spring-loaded front caster system glides easily over uneven surfaces, such as indoor molding strips and cracks in the sidewalk. This avoids sudden jolts as well as the need to lift the walker over small obstacles.
Laser & Sound Cueing Module
This optional feature is primarily used by those with Parkinson’s freezing but can be used by anyone with an irregular gait pattern. This Cueing Module can help get you started, normalize your walking and increase your stride. Press the red button on the module to project a bright red laser line on the floor to guide your step. You can also turn on the sound feature to set a beat pattern for walking speed.
Easily Transported
Folding the UStep Walker is as easy as one, two, three! Lift the release lever by the seat, pull up on the seat support to fold and put it in the car; no bending down to pick it up.
Comfortable Padded Seat
It is lightweight, easy to operate and a far more dignified design than other walkers.

FAQ's about U Step Walker 2
- Why it is easier to maneuver with the U Step 2 Walker?
Seven wheels allow you to swivel and manage uneven surfaces with more stability than standard walkers can offer. The U-shaped base promotes better posture by reducing the tendency to lean forward when walking
- If the U Step rolls so easily, might it roll away from me?
Two features prevent that from happening. The hand brakes are configured as “pull-to-go”, in contrast to typical hand brakes. Also, a friction mechanism regulates the two large wheels on the base, according to the needs of the particular patient.
- Is the U Step only intended for Parkinson's patients?
The U-Step offers more stability for anyone who requires a walker. Those with conditions such as Parkinson’s, MS, stroke, Ataxia or PSP often find that the U-Step is the only walker that provides maximum mobility for them.
- Is the U Step Neuro suitable for someone 6 feet 5 inches tall?
We offer a customized handlebar that extends the maximum grip-to-floor height from 38 inches to 41 inches. We also offer a customized seat with larger dimensions than the standard seat
