The simple design has only 2 points of adjustment: a highly adjustable split back strap and two Velcro fasteners. It is possible to extend the split rear strap separately for a looser fit or shorten it for a tighter fit. The Velcro fasteners add an extra layer of adjustment. Moreover, to help ensure the best match, the Rio II Mask comes with three sets of nasal pillows.

Rio II CPAP Nasal Pillow Mask Fitting Instructions

1. Thread the headgear's two side straps through the gaps in panels separately, then fold back over to secure.
2. By gripping the back strap and wrapping it around the back of your head, bring the headgear over your head. The top strap should sit comfortably on the top of your head.
3. Until the interface sits comfortably just under the nose, change each end of the side strap uniformly. Reattach the tabs for fastening.
4. To get a good fit, move the interface away from your face, then position it back. Ensure that both  pillows placed upright, the nasal pillows fit comfortably into your nostrils.
5. Finally, connect the end of the interface tubing into your device air tubing. Your interface is now fitted and ready to use.
